CMPD hands out 94 charges in overnight checkpoint

Police said they caught more than three dozen people behind the wheel without having a license at a south Charlotte checkpoint. CMPD handed out a total of 94 charges at the checkpoint on Tyvola Road near Old Pineville Road. Fourteen of them were for driving with licenses revoked. Five of those charges were for DWI.
