One of the statutory rights individuals have is to be free in their air travel from discrimination based on mental health or physical impairments.
1
Air Carriers and Airports
All air carriers that regularly offer transportation to the public for hire are bound by the statutory guidelines to be free from such discrimination. Access to aircraft, airport terminals and a wide array of helpful tools to assist such travellers are in place to make sure no discrimination based upon mental or physical impairments takes place.
2
US Department of Transportation / Access to Courts
If you have a complaint bring a federal court lawsuit to enforce your rights, or file directly with the Department of Transportation. Discuss which approach is best for you with an experienced attorney.
