case managers and workers compensation claims: I had surgery on my wrist due to carpal tunnel and the claim is being handled by work comp. According to my nurse case mamager, I was required to return to work within 48 hrs of surgery. My question is under Tennesse law, is the case manager required to attend my doctors visit with me and schedule these visits as well, also what are my rights under the HIPAA law as to who can and can not see my medical records. - Is this your question?
