I would like to raise money in the U.S for an organization which rescue dogs from the streets in Moscow, Russia. The organization is just a group of volunteers and it’s not a registered charity in Russia, but they are doing an amazing job and they need more money (by the way, they are my friends, so I know them very well). My first option is to open 501 (c)(3) nonprofit. Unfortunately, since I plan to move couple of times from state to state for the next few years, it’s not the best option for me right now because my address is going to change. Can I temporary raise money without a nonprofit organization? I also have a computer software developing company (limited liability company). Can I raise donations through LLC? Do I have more options to raise money in the U.S. and send it to Russia?
