I am a private investor and would like to purchase a condo that is currently in notice of default and set to go to auction in a few weeks. The property is deeded between a single man who holds 50% and a married couple who hold 50%. All 3 are listed as borrowers. If I buy the property at auction will I run into any problems in transferring the deed?
The trustee should had you a clean deed. Discuss with them before you buy.
