What does good moral character mean when it comes to US citizenship?

Miami, FL |

I have not committed any crimes while living here. Is that enough?

How about crimes other places, how bout owing child support and not paying. You should consult with a lawyer to discuss if you qualify for naturalization.

Good idea.

It is not clearly defined but left a bit to the interpretation of the officers, but usually it is understood as meaning that you have no criminal record or other violations of laws and rules. However, not all convictions mean you don't have good moral character.

If in doubt, consult an attorney with your specific details.

Good point.

It depends. Your driving records, bounced checks... If you don't have a criminal record and you swear you don't have other problems at all, it will be good for now.
