Default judgment by declaration means a judgment of dissolution of marriage was entered using a declaration ( form FL-170); the date in January is the date it was entered (filed); and, yes, it means the dissolution of marriage is final. If you have concerns about what rights were afffected by this status please consult with a family law attorney. Judgment of Dissolution has been entered. The actual date of divorce, i.e. the date on which you return to the status of a single person will be written on the Notice of Entry of Judgment. Otherwise, if more than 6 months has passed since the Respondent was served with the Petition, then you were returned to the status of a single/unmarried person as of 1/31/2013 (the date Notice of Entry of Judgment was filed)

Notice of Entry of Judgment is dated 1/31/13 so you're all done. Congrats. Good luck to you.
