my joint sponsor is a 72 year old business owner,he meets the financial requirements but is having trouble finding copy of his birth certificate,he was born in chicago but lives and works in indiana and has not been able to retain a copy of his birth certificate.
To be a co-sponsor, he must prove that he is either a US citizen or a green card holder. No way around this requirement.
