Expert Advice When You Need It Most

Starting a solar-panel company to help SCE meet its demands...

I'm interested in starting a very interesting business involving photovoltaics (solar panels).

I have little seed money, but my idea is so brilliant I don't think it will be difficult to find investors -- my only problem is who can I trust to help me? I know I need a lawyer with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, someone who wants to partner in this venture.

Before releasing any of the information to anyone, you should consult with a patent attorney in the area. They can get you pointed in the right direction, and an attorney will be duty bound to protect the information you share with them as confidential. An attorney will be able to assist you in preparing a confidentiality agreement that will be necessary in order to enter into discussions with any investors.
