Should we get a SSN before applying for an EAD (L2)

Asked over 1 year ago - Allentown, PA

I'm on L1 and my wife is on L2 visa. We are planning to apply for her EAD (work authorization). So do we need to apply for the SSN before we apply for the EAD or vise versa?
