Real estate lawMe and my wife owner financed a home on October 9th, signed papers and gave down payment. On Oct 11th the carpet was ripped up in one of the bedrooms the the slab is severely cracked and needs major foundation repairs. What can we do about this. We are 1st time home buyers. You need to make an appointment with a real estate lawyer near you and take all of your paperwork and pictures and maybe bids on repairs.
