My wife is currently out of status on her F1 visa. Can she travel out of country with approved I131?

I am a US citizen and we are currently in the process of applying for adjustment of status. She hasn't been to school for over a year and her visa expires by the end of this year. I was wondering if she can travel with no problems if gets her I131 approved?

If she obtains an advanced parole, she should be able to travel internationally.
