Applied I 485 & I 765 at a time , 485 got approved and and received CG , but REF for I 765 .
strange, but if you received your green card, you no longer need an EAD. I would respond to them indicating that you received your green card already - I don't like to let things be with CIS

I agree with Attorney Vaisman. The I-765 is only necessary so you can work while you are waiting for the GC to be approved - it is not a required part of the process of GC approval, and it depends on information that may not be directly related to the underlying application. Good luck!
