My wife made 17.5K last year, according to the immigration requirements for a household of two she needs to make 18,360
She just got a promotion and this year will be making 24K and next year 30K, but according to her last tax year she is only making 17.5K
Is a letter from her employer sufficient prove of her new income?
Thank you for posting your question.
In order to establish her current income, you may want to submit 2-3 recent paystubs. In addition, you may wish to provide an employment verification letter from her current employer verifying that she is employed with them, her title and her current salary. Before your interview, you may wish to gather updated paystubs and an updated letter to take to the interview.
