In VA, what are the footage/boundries, on each side, for a public ramp/landing that has been established for many, many years?

The ramp is a dirt ramp and has been used mostly for swimming and small motor boats, paddle boats, and canoes for decades. There is little or now no room for parking because of newly purchased land to one side. - Is this your question? Add additional information

To check on the details of these code requirements, contact the local administrator for Gloucester.
http://www.gloucesterva.info/codes/

Before doing that, though, familiarize yourself with each of the zoning codes, building permit rules/process and compliance requirements for Gloucester by clicking the link above.

Check with a lawyer in your locale to discuss more of the details.
