According to Army Reg 190-30, p 4-26, Security Surveillance Systems...may be employed...so long as public notices are conspicuously displayed at all entrances, providing persons who enter with a clear warning that this type of monitoring is being conducted. The main PX at Ft Meade has no such warnings posted at any of its entrances. The PX does follow posting "No Smoking" signs as required by Army Reg 600-63, p 7-3. In a 2011 US District Court Ruling C 09-0037 CW ruling, "Army Regulations have the force of law." Further Army Reg 215-8 pertaining to AAFES operations states that AAFES personnel will comply with applicable departmental regulations concerning criminal investigations. Yet the military PX failed to post notice of surveillance. Doesn't that make the video illegal?
