I obtained a Green card last December. I receive a pension In the UK where I am /was resident. I need help in filing US tax

I married a US citizen in August 2012. I pay full tax in the UK. Do I qualify for some exemption from US tax under the double taxation agreement with the UK?

    Answered . If you are a US resident, you will need to file a return as either married filing jointly or married filing separately. There is a US-UK treaty and you will get a Foreign Tax credit. See a CPA to prepare your return.
