I filed paper work for my wife I am a US citizen, now my mother wants for me to file paper work for her and the problem is that she wants to alternate my pay checks, my mother was told to do this, will this affect my wife's process?
Never take the immigration law advice given by a non-lawyer. There should not be a reason to "alternate pay checks." That simply does not make sense in the processing of residency for the parent of a U.S. citizen.
Please review the instructions of the applicable forms on the web site of the Citizenship and Immigration Service. That would be the subway method of getting her residency: follow the signs and get to the goal on your own. On the other hand, you could call and hire an immigration attorney to complete the forms, answer all your questions, and represent you both at the interview. That would be the taxi method of getting her residency: let a professional help you. Either way, best of luck.
