How I can get green card through my brother?

I am PhD student, and I have J1 visa. I want to get green card becase my brother has green card and he lived in the USA since 1999.So, I want to know if I can get green card through my bother.Thanks

    Answered . Only once he becomes a citizen can he sponsor you and hten it will take 10 years at least

    Answered . Yes, he will have to naturalize first. Once he sponsors you, the wait will be many years. You should consider Outstanding Researcher or Advanded Degree Professional categories once you have a job in your field.
