Help with writing a letter requesting restitution for assault and battery.

Asked over 2 years ago - Lake Havasu City, AZ

Being the victim of the above charges, It was recommended I submit a letter of restitution. I know each case is different, but does a sample letter of such exist? If so, how might I access this letter or information. Did search on internet, but not much to go on. Sincerely appreciate any help with this. I would like restitution for loss of wages related to the incident and for the accused to receive counseling or help.

Under Arizona law you are guaranteed victim's rights under the Arizona Constitution, including being consulted on any plea agreement or issues of restitution. A victim services representative should be able to assist you in gathering which information is relevant to be presented to the court.
