why my green card has as7 type and no as 8 type like my younger brother has ?i was 21 and he was 16 when we recieve it . thank you

    Answered . Both AS7 and AS8 are for dependents of asylees. AS7 is for the spouse of an asylee, while AS8 is reserved for children of an asylee. If you believe the code on yours is wrong, you should think about consulting with an immigration lawyer to help fix it.
