We just moved to a different area (mid-school year) and before move, elementary school adminisions staff indicated that they cannot anyone if sopt is there or not, but she also indicated that there wasn't any overflow in this school, and they can tell if spot is there or not after we completely move to that area. Still, I submited online registration and moved to that area. On the day of move, admissions staff said, I am missing immunization details and she will update the online records. I asked her about the spot and she said YES, there is a spot. I was so excited that my son can start his new school immidiately, BUT later in an hour or so when I went back with rental agreement, she says there is no spot for my son any more, because it was given to someone else yesterday. And he will be overflow to another school which is 5 miles away. She is the only lady in admissions and how can she forget that it spot was given to someone else? How can they do this? What action we can take against this lady as she just played with our emotions?
