Do I have to serve the other side with my exhibits, witness list, jury instructions, etc?
or can I just take all of that to the readiness conference?
Yes, absolutely, but the timing depends upon the county and court in which your trial will be held. It is imperative that you carefully study the local rules of that court.
However, generally speaking, you need to serve the exhibit lists, witness lists, and jury instructions well ahead of your final status conference or trial readiness conference. In fact, many judges require that the parties submit JOINT witness and exhibit lists.
