Can the IRS take a family health and savings account as disposable income"

IRS has taken my health and savings account for my family twice in 1 month. I am on workman's comp since Jan 2013

    Answered . Yes, unfortunately so. Time to work out some type of payment arrangement with them or they'll continue to drain assets.

    Answered . You need to try to reach an accord with the IRS. They can and will continue to garnish the account. I urge you to seek qualified legal counsel to assist you. It sounds as though you have not been able to do so on your own. Best of luck to you.
