I came to the US on 2000 with F-1 visa but never went to school. I applied for asylum on 2004 and wa s denied in Federal Plaza, NY on Aug 2008. I applied for appeal on September 2008 and I haven't received the result yet. I have been working for consulting engineering firm for 4 years. Is it possible if I can withdraw my asylum case because my company wants to sponsor me? or is there any other solution beside thru marriage?
Thank you very much.
This matter is complicated. it is unclear when the USCIS found that you were unlawfully present in the U.S. it is unclear how many days, if any, you were unlawfully present in the U.S. If you marry while in removal, this can complicate matters. An attorney will need to know more information.
You should contact an experienced immigration attorney to candidly and carefully discuss your options as soon as possible.
