Can I sue my employer for hostile work environment or intentional infliction of emotional distress?

The company owners son is my boss. He has thrown items, broken items, yelled at me and made life generally unpleasant. I am experiencing panic attacks and nightmares that have me waking up screaming in the middle of the night. The staff goes around and warns each other when he is in a bad mood. The outrageous things he's done include forcefully throwing a Frisbee at the wall (in response to a comment I made), smashing a cinder block to bits and hurling it across the parking lot, throwing out a pan of fresh lunch that was meant for a co-worker (who didn't get any of it before it hit the trash), and yelling at, and even mocking a co-worker. This man is an emotional roller coaster- you never know what mood he'll be in, but it's never long before you find out. I am seeing a counselor. Help!!
