I was working in fabrication for 4 years and was injured had surgery but not 100% better, they moved me into the office been there for 8 months doing a lot better. My doctor just released me but my bankruptcy layer wants me to get a worker comp lawyer to handle my case. I just don't know if I really need a lawyer or just have the case worker handle it. Is there an advantage in having a lawyer ?

You can be fired for about 250 reasons, except directly for being old, a minority, disabled, pregnant, a woman, or filing a WC claim. However, if you have a dirty shirt, answer the phone on the 3rd ring, or come back 2 minutes late from lunch, your goose can be cooked.
