Attorney answers (2)
I wanted to confirm that Glen is correct. There is no "legal separaration" in Georgia. If you are unable to afford an attorney, there are also legal aid services available to help people with financial needs.

There is no "legal separaration" in Georgia. You would either need to file for a divorce, or, if you are seeking alimony or child support (the latter obviously does not apply to you), you can seek money in a separate maintenance case. You will likely be surprised how little a lawyer costs. Call me to discuss the costs if you wish.
