A former tenant bounced a rent check in 12/08. I just learned this from a creditor I had deposited the chk with. What do I do?
This was a commerical tenant.

I agree with my collegue, check with the Secretary of State regarding the partners, and the formal address of the partnership. The bank will have access to the information on the account, and the police can access the information after you file a complaint. The post office may also have a forwarding address if you check with them.

The secretary of state will the information on the Partners and who is responsible for the partnership. You should contact a lawyer who can help you go after them.
