Fired for requesting overtime pay that is due?

I got fired for politely telling my boss that my paycheck was not correct. I worked 86 hours in a week, which is what I was scheduled. My hourly wage is $19/hour. Per Washington State law, they have to pay me time and 1/2 on everything over 40 hours. My boss told me I'm not a team player , although all the other employees received time and 1/2. I had just been offered a promotion for being a team player. I kept the conversation very professional so I could not be fired for my mannerisms. He said "everyone thinks I have deep pockets." He clearly fired me over an emotional decision and all the management assured me I was an excellent employee. I only want what is fairly owed to me and I want to keep my job. (He did pay me the OT before i left. Is this a legal firing? ( emplyed 3 weeks.

I complained about being treated unfairly and was "let go"

I complained to my department supervisor about being treated unfairly by immediate supervisor and and was told that things will not change and that I should just quit. When I went to HR I was told the same thing. In that same week I was terminated for reasons they could not tell me. I have e-mails to back me up on the company server, however they now considered confidential. I was never given my password to access my e-mail from a computer even asking for it several times. I never recieved my performance review after asking for it several times as well. Can they legally terminate me?

Am I eligible to file wrongful termination litigation against an employer as an Independent Contractor.

I was hired by a consulting firm to do support member of an activation of an informatics implementation project at a hospital in NY. (The company is based out of Ohio). I am well qualified and provided the job exemplary (per my judgement). Into week one of the 3 week project I was terminated with because I did not know the product. They never offered any specific explanation. I was then (per terms of the contract) expected to pick up the total cost of my return back to Florida. In the meanwhile they kept individuals that were far less eqipped to prepared and experienced than I was. (The hired about 200 consultants). Because of my expertise, I was one of the better paid. The outcome of the termination was very costly. I was the only "fit" person that was terminated in this manner. I am

Unfair termination

I'm 19 and was newly hired in a retail position. The "acting" managers (never had a head store manager) highly praised my work and sent me to a very expensive week-long training out of state in addition to the regular store training. One week after training I was called into the office with Loss/Prevention and told I had given cash back without a receipt on three occasions - the last time a month ago. They interrogated me and told me to "come clean" about anything I had done. I was told there would be an investigation - the next day my boss called and said I was fired for not following company policy with regards to giving cash back w/o a receipt. I'm devastated. If they knew I made a mistake why didn't they correct me the first time? I didn't get a warning or anything.

Can I sue for "effective termination" if a private company bans me from the building so I cannot service my clients living there

Assisted living residence banned me from their building and claimed they lost a client due to my professional opinion that one of their residents needed a higher level of care. (I am a case manager) I had two clients (contract required 30 days notice termination) living there who I could no longer service and lost $100k in income. One client paid me a bonus and told me to keep the deposit because they understood that the company was being retaliatory, the other cllient wants to sue me for the deposit though gave me a written 30 day notice 5 weeks after the ban. Will I lose in small claims court and have to return all of the deposit even though we have a written 30 day notice? If so, should I go after the facility for "effective wrongful termination" if I can prove retaliation

My brother was fired from my previous employer. I believe he was retaliated against because I have a open case with the EEOC.

I use to work for a company untill two months ago. I was harrassed throughout my employment there and retailiaded against because of my complaining to the vice president of the harrassment. My brother still worked for the same company. I have an open case with the EEOC. When they found out, they fired my brother shortly after that. They said it was because they were cutting back and are short on work but I don't believe it. It's in the construction job and cut backs come with the territory, but his jobsite isn't ending until late March. I just requested an in person hearing for my UI benefits and they know I'm seeking legal representation. I believe this has something to do with that. What do I do? Does this help my case? Should I let my EEOC investigator know? Thank you.
