I'm not going to get into why I did it, just that I was absolutely desperate and made a mistake. I am a good citizen with no criminal record. I spent 2 days in the county jail and was released pending a trial. What I want to know is, what am I facing? She stills in custody in Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia. When she got arrested for "white color crime", judge denied her bail. After six months she doesn't have any indictment. Lawyer says that we have to wait for indictment. How long does she have to wait for indictment and can she get bail after all this time she spends in jail? What can we do? Can we wright a latter to the judge to ask for bail? Her lawyer doesn't trying to do anything , he just waits for something, we don't know what. I have lived the last 10 years in Europe. During this time, I have found out that there is an outstanding Federal warrant for my arrest for a white-collar crime. I have to travel to Mexico this month and I was worried about traveling to a country that might be in cooperation with the US like Canada has: "an information sharing agreement with the United States". My question is: Is it a possibility that the Mexican authorities might arrest me at the passport check at the airport when I arrive because of my US arrest warrant? I went to the police department to file charges. I have tons of evidence agains the perpetrator, and have already won not only a dismissal against the perp in an adversarial bankruptcy court but also a judgement against him for over 100K. I was told by the police dept that the fraud is a civil matter and not a criminal matter. So, What is it that makes the fraud criminal.
