What is the maximum sentence for felony theft $3,000?

I recently took $3,000 from my employer and was charged with felony theft. I'm not going to get into why I did it, just that I was absolutely desperate and made a mistake. I am a good citizen with no criminal record. I spent 2 days in the county jail and was released pending a trial. What I want to know is, what am I facing? Is there a good chance they'll put me on house arrest or something seeing as it's my first offense ever?

This is in Minnesota if that helps any.

Does Mexico have the right to arrest me at the airport on an outstanding US Federal warrant for a white-collar crime?

Hello.
I am an American citizen, born and raised in California. I have lived the last 10 years in Europe. During this time, I have found out that there is an outstanding Federal warrant for my arrest for a white-collar crime.

I have to travel to Mexico this month and I was worried about traveling to a country that might be in cooperation with the US like Canada has: "an information sharing agreement with the United States".

My question is: Is it a possibility that the Mexican authorities might arrest me at the passport check at the airport when I arrive because of my US arrest warrant? Do they have the authority to do so?
Thank you,
Bob Orr

I don't want to be arrested where I work. Do ASAs allow people to turn thenselves in?

My criminal defense attorney has been talking to the Assistant State Attorney b/c I was investigated in a felony white collar crime. There's no way I'm admitting to something I didn't do. However, I'm aware that my assertion doesn't preclude the ASA to issue an arrest warrant. Apparently, they know each other well. Is there a possibility that the ASA will allow me to turn myself in w/ my atty. if he decides to proceed with charges against me?

How can I protect myself against my ex-husband who installed a keystroke program in my computer monitoring me?

We were divorced four months ago but experts found a keystroke program in my computer and streaming video and audio links I never put in. This guy already forged my name on tax returns and took $250,000 out of the home that was in my name alone, in addition to stealing our children's money. Is there any recourse? The police are disinterested.

What constitutes Criminal Fraud in california. What are the components that take it from Civil to Criminal

i have had a fraud committed to me, and was conned out of my life savings. I went to the police department to file charges. I have tons of evidence agains the perpetrator, and have already won not only a dismissal against the perp in an adversarial bankruptcy court but also a judgement against him for over 100K. I was told by the police dept that the fraud is a civil matter and not a criminal matter. So, What is it that makes the fraud criminal. This man has dont this to other, but threatens them so they do not press charges. This man needs to go to jail
