One of the officers grabbed my phone off the hood of the patrol car during my search. He then read my text and contacts and even started answering my phone. All this taking place before I was ever arrested. After searching my car 3 times and making several threats, I was finally transported to book-in. After bonding out on the D.W.L.I. my phone and $800 cash were missing. I was told to pick up that property the next day from the PD. After 2 failed A.I.'s, 4 failed IVF's, 1 failed IVF with donor eggs, and being told (not diagnosed) that it was male factor, then it was my age, then it was unknown, we are out $65,000 and no baby. Then I delve into research (was too dependent on him and working 60 hr/wk to pay for this), only to find an HSG was never performed (in-office ultrasound that they said was just as good), never checked for endomitriosis (though I have all the symptoms), and never had a laproscopy to go in and look at what could be wrong. It seems many steps were skipped and went right to procedures. Shame on me for not doing research, but I thought we were depending on an expert, and it's a small town. What recourse do we have?
