Can I file a civil suit?

After consulting with a physician twice about laser treatments for acne scarring, and being told I would see drastic improvements, I purchased a package and paid in advance. Post treatment, I have seen NO results. The doctor agrees there is no change. So, I am out the money, and have received none of what I was told I would. I feel as if I paid for a cosmetic procedure and came out exactly the same, minus the money. Do I have a right to seek a return of my expenses when all I got was empty promises?

My cousin's parents are divorced and one has already hired a lawyer for their son that passed away. Can the other one hire another lawyer for the same medical malpractice case? Will it be conjoined in court even with seperate representation? Also, can one lawyer represent them both as separate entities?

If a doctor has decided to discharge a patient from their practice, how soon must they provide the medical records to a patient?

My doctor of 10 years decided to discharge me from the practice. At this point, the doctor wants to make me wait a minimum of 2 weeks to receive my medical records and also wants to charge me an outrageous amount for those records (probably a minimum of $50). Also, I had tests done and the results of those tests have also been withheld from me to this day. It has been almost 2 months since I had the tests done. What can I do legally?

Same Question: Should I sue a Dr. for not requesting a MRI after developing epilepsy.

I found out I had epilepsy at age 26 after a grand mal siezure. My neurologist treated me with meds and check ups every 2 or 3 years for the next 23 years. I moved to Seattle and my new neurologist ordered a MRI which detected a tumor in my right temporal lobe. They said it had probably been there since my teens. It was removed and now almost two years later I have completely recovered. No meds and no siezures after 26 years of fearing the next partial complex siezure or a car accident among a few. My long and short term memory has returned completely and I am blessed with no post surgical health issues.

I had one answer which suggested I contact Texas Medical Malpractice. I sent them an email but have not received a response in a week. Can anyone give me a more specific answer?

How can I get a refund?

I am having a problem that has resulted from a tummy tuck that I had 4 weeks ago. The incision from midline to the left hip is perfectly sewn and is healed well. The same incision from midline to the right hip is puckered, creased, and gathered in areas. I asked why one side looked totally different for the other and he said they all look like that. I am in severe pain on the right end of the sutureline I am going to have to find a docotr and pay for the repair! I have no confidence in the PS now because I believe that an assistant sewed me up on that side. I called the office and told them exactly what I thought. Can I get a refund?

Hello, I was diagnosed with HIV seven to 8 years ago, I few years later I was tasted again and the test was negative.

I was told to get a glass of water and have a seat that I had HIV, I lived my life thinking that I was going to die. My doctor found out and had me tested that was 2 years after the diagnosis, the test was negative, how ever I was tolld to be tested periodically, But I was afraid, I just now 8 years later had enough courage to be tested again, the test was again negative. I dont know if I have a case, but I have suffered for 8 years and even thought of suicide, surelly they should be held accountable for my suffering.
