What deems a person incompacitated?

This guy I am dating, 33 years my senior lived in a center I worked as a nurse. At this time he was an emergency admit by APS for alcohol abuse. He was released, lives on his own, manages all his own financial affairs, drives, keeps house clean, showers daily and shaves, communicates as well as anybody, but I was accused of having a relationship with an incompacitated adult. IN the center they diagnosed him with alcohol induced dementia, but tested him when they brought him in, he has no more emory loss than a man of his age and all bills are handled without help and all I do is order his meds, take him to his doctor and he drinks, but never to access he is 74, married but has lived without his wife for eyars and again called APS.

Accident- Can I get MRI done months after my treatment is over?

I was involved in a car accident a few months back and other party (State farm) assumed reliability. when i went to my MD for initial diagnosis right after accident, he said it's soft tissue injury and refused to take the xray on me. n refer me to therapies. i was treated with physical/massage therapy for the past 3-4 months and a month ago my Dr. said I've reached maximum improvement but come back if i feel pain again.. since a few weeks ago, occasionally my shoulder and lower back hurt. so my question is can i now go to the other orthopedist (i don't like my Dr as he assumes that my acc was not a major one) to get the MRI done to make sure i have no disc etc, before i settle with the insurance? Will they dispute this since i took MRI after the treatment not before?

Counter suing following a medical negligence claim

A patient is suing me for 15,000 in dental fees paid for veneers plus 77,000 for pain, inconvenience and humiliation following a veneer placement that she didn't like. I replaced the veneers a second time and she still didn't like them. She has been wearing the veneers for 2 years and feel she just wants them for free. There is nothing wrong with my care and I have been extensively trained in cosmetic dentistry. I want to counter sue her for my inconvenience, humiliation and anxiety. Can I counter sue and what are the potential implications? Thank you,

car accident case. why are they so slow billing my PIP?

I got rear ended about 7 months ago, 100% other party's fault. i went to physical therapy for about 4 months until late July. I'm going thru my PIP and they are in a process of recovering medical bills from the other party (USAA)... my physical therapy office is giving me a hard time. They have not billed PIP since May although last treatment was end of july and they have not billed PIP for the remaining 2 months (20 times) of treatment. I contacted the office to bill PIP so that insurance is aware that i've been getting physical therapy consistently but since they are not cooperating with me and keep delaying to bill them, I'm frustrated. I contacted them again a month ago and they said they will bill them however, still they have not billed my PIP.

Can doctor prescribe drugs while out of town using his PA's?

I went to a local "walk-in" clinic, was seen by a PA, and was prescribed a very high doseage of prednisone. I was also prescribed Biaxin. The Prednizone said to take 40MG daily for 7 days. When I couldn't sleep, I called the pharmacy. They said to call the Doctor. I heard back from an assistant of the doctors assistant, and was told to take half the doseage. At no point was the doctor involved. When I told them I wanted a call from the doctor, the assistant said that he was out of town over the weeekend (when I was there), and he should return Wed. What about Dr. patient confidentiality? What can be done about overdosage of steroids prescribed by a Dr. who knows nothing about me, and has never seen me?
