English is not my primary language, do I have the right to ask for my deposition being taken in my native language?

I'm French and I have to give a deposition. My English is not too bad but not as good as my French and I 'm worry that the lawyer, during the deposition, try to "trick" me with words that I don't fully understand or that can have different meaning. So, Can I request having this deposition taken in French instead of English?

Does the lawyer has the right to bill me for a translator? (She is my ex's lawyer and the deposition is to serve his case and I'm the other party in this case).

Can i sue for false advertising or fraud under this circumstance?

I bought this leveling package for a game, yes i know its pathetic, but anyway they said they would have the order completed in 5 or 6 days, however its been 10 days and my order is not even close to being completed for at least another week, and they have gotten my banned from the game, twice, because of their irresponsibility and irrational actions. They told me i can not get a refund because they already paid the leveler, when in really he is using this automatic program to level, he is not doing it himself, and that is unnacceptable under there terms, he should be fired, yet they do not know of this and he is denying it but i do have 2 eye-witnesses and proof. Besides that they are also harassing me to not sue and just keep waiting they will get it done eventually. Can i get my refund?

My attorney may jump ship because we ran out of $$... can my son represent himself?

I am up against the wall with no funds to continue to finance the private attorney. I do not want to gamble with a public defender that is "in the bed with the DA's office" and sit and watch them offer my son a plea of 10 or more years to avoid a trial. Can my son represent himself at 17. At least he woudl come out fighting vs. a not fighting public defender.

Irrevocable Living Trust - Dad is going through funds rather quickly. What can I do as Trustee?

My mom passed away - assets were placed in an Irrevocable Living Trust (Dad agreed). Assets include: house (DOT changed), stock, Dad's IRA (beneficiary changed to ILT). Dad was spending money on/with a person on the side (per Mom before she died). Spending has now escalated. Dad now has HELOC against house. He gambles regularly with his friend. Now is cashing in stock to "spend". He has nothing to show for any of this money - house in disrepair, old car, etc. He may need the funds for long term care or health issues. What are my legal options as the Trustee? Is there anyway to protect funds from friend? Doesn't the ILT protect assets? It is his money, but I'm concerned about dealing with issues with this friend or surprises if something happens to him. His mental faculties are fine.

Two of my managers shared information that I had confided in them regarding my gambling addiction

I am an addicted gambler who was recently in some trouble at work. Duting an interview I explained to my managers that I had become addicted to gambling and that I was in financial bankrupty as well as severe trouble with my family (wife and kids). My managers shared this information with both management and non management employees setting off trmendous rumors about me in our company of 6000 employees. I was downgraded from a management position to a non management position and my reputation as well as my ability to get promoted ever again has been ruined. Did my managers violate my hippa rights by sharing information about my gambling addiction with other multiple employees not in a need to know basis.

What can I do if my trademark was approved, I got a dba, then it was re-reviewed and denied?

I already paid for the dba and the ads for the product, not to mention that it's a video and is all ready to go out. I can't afford to re-shoot the video. Can I get sued for releasing the video when the trademark was okayed (they denied it after I released it)? It's not my fault that they re-reviewed it and denied it, right?

i was offered a plea of no fine, no batterer's class, and no STOP program. my atty wasn't even in the courtroom and i have all 3

i was offered a fine of 1k, i said no deal, let's go to trial. Pros went to chambers and said no fine, but batterer's intervention and STOP program. I said i would never pay one dime, never take any batterer's class, and would rather do 100 years than plead to anything having to do with stalking. I told her that I was seeing my own therapist for my own issues separate from the court. She came back a 3rd time with; no fine, no class, and no STOP, but had to take one of their therapists,. I said, no deal, let's go to trail. She went back a FIFTH time and said; ok, no fine, no class, no stop, and you can see your own therapist, but you have to have him address the stalking issue. i said fine. my lawyer wasn't even in the courtroom when I plead but got all 3 - my withdraw was denied

My son got injured on a playground located in a minor league baseball stadium and they are denying payment of medical bills.

We attended a baseball game and my son was on the playground and fell off the monkey bars and fell injuring his back. My husband rushed him to the first aid area and they called for an ambulance since he was unable to walk without assistance and complaining of pain. They called and ambulance and he was treated at the hospital, x-rayed and released with a diagnoses of "back contusion". We submitted everything into our medical but are left with about $1200 still in deductibles. I submitted everything to the stadium management and started a claim with thier insurance. We received notification they are denying the claim because the playground was inspected and they are not liable. Is this something I can dispute?
