Switching employer and switching EB category

Hi,
I currently have an EAD under EB3. My employer is refusing to move me to EB2 or EB1 category, though I qualify for both categories.
Can I switch to a new employer and move to EB2 category, retaining my EB3 Priority date?
If so, how do I do that? what are the documents required, process, etc.,

Canadian assets

Anyone know if there are ANY Canadian brokerage firms who can take US citizen and US resident (not living in Canada) accounts? How about opening a bank account?
Reason for the question is I don't like how our American dollar is being debased by the government and think Canadian dollars are safer and my stocks are Canadian ADRs anyway. As a Scottrade customer, they have no branch or partnerships IN Canada.

My URL --and another trademarked URL in a different industry-- both make different puns on a common word. Infringement?

I am a musician, choosing a URL (not registered yet to anyone) which is a pun on a common word. I did a search and found another website (not musicians) with a URL that makes a *different" pun on that word. There's nothing on their site except for this: "a start-up corporation founded in 1999 to develop and market knowledge bank solutions for capturing and leveraging intellectual capital for organizations and individuals". They claim to have trademarked their name. Theirs has two syllables, mine has three, Theirs starts with C, mine starts with K. How different do the two words have to be for me to be safe from infringement complaints?

MBA in Finance wants EB2?

I have an MBA in Finance and I found an american company to sponsor me. Is it harder to get permanent residency in finance now because of the job shortage in the financial services industry?
1. Does the state of the financial markets affect my greencard application?
2. And if so how much?
3. Are there ways to lessen the effect if there is one.
4. My country has no backlog in the visa bulletin, what can I expect in terms of the process itself and the time from start to finish? Including the i-140, i-485 and whatever else may be needed.

Thanks

Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure in Florida and/or Chapter 13

I bought the house in July 2007 just about when the bubble burst. I owe 249k, it is now valued around 150k. I am still current with my mortgage but not for long. Can someone please explain to me the pros and cons of DILF. This is my primary home and lived here a little over 720 days. I just read an article about Mortgage Relief Act ending in 2009 .. is it applicable to my case? I may lose my job that pays 98k, my unsecured debt is 88k plus 41k in car loans. I have zero savings or assets. My immediate family is more important but cant help not to get stressed out... and yes I will do it again if I have the means to help financially... I now have zero dependents. But right now what are my options? Can I execute DILF and then Chapter 13? Which specialty should I look for a lawyer to help me?

should I use a lawyer or a debt reduction company to eliminate an old debt.

I have a credit card debt with a single card that I stopped paying on in 2002 when i lost my job. It was around $21k then, and the last time I checked, in 2006, it was around $25k. I was hospitilized for mental illness in 2005 and placed in a rest home upon release. I've since gotten my own apartment and have saved up $7k from my SSDI payments of about $1,700 per month. I can't afford $25k but could pay some money towards the debt.

Can I legally use the name of a product as the title of a movie.

Can I legally use the name of a product as the title of a movie. Example
product: Wii. (video game console)
Movie title: Wii and Me

The film does not defame the product. It makes reference to the product as a video game once in the movie stating kids would rather play video games then be active. This movie is not about kids not playing video games and not getting exercise. The Movie is not even about video games.

My car was recently hit and will probably be considered a total loss. What if they don't give me the worth of the car?

I was recently stopped at at red light when I was rear ended at 45mph because the person didn't see my giant SUV. Everyone had insurance and no one was injured but I'm afraid that since my car is 13 years old, they will total it and not give me what I feel it is worth. The estimated damage was about $2700. The only thing wrong with it is the tailgate, rear glass, rear bumper, tailpipe, and the casing around the gas tank (not the gas tank itself). It's still drivable but the rear window is shattered so water would get in it. I do not know how much they are giving me yet but I have a feeling it's not going to be more than $1000. That is not sufficient. What can I do if they offer me an amount that's not acceptable? Thanks.
