How do i get my grandfathers widowed wife out of our house?

My grandfather remarried to a woman and he passed a couple of years ago. After he passed she turned for the worse and wanted his house, land , homstead, everything. Well the only thing she got is the ability to live in the house as long as she wants to. In the last month or so the electricity has been cut off to the house and no one is living there but all her stuff is there. We want a legal way to get her out of the house and be through with her already, she dose not pay the taxes a per court Judge and is becoming a real pest and liability. Is there any laws for this situation, since she has moved out but left her stuff there is that legal or can we assume she has forfitted her right to live there. Any insight on this would help a great deal. She had multiple properties from doin this.

A Tx lawyer suggested that I only needed a simple will as my estate is under 3.5 M and Texas is a "probate friendly" state. Is there value in keeping a trust document in Texas?

Can I get reimbursed for funeral expenses if I am not the beneficiary?

My brother left all of his property to my sister none of the other 5 siblings were named in the will. At the funeral my sister refused to pay so I paid to give my brother a proper funeral. What rights do I have in the state of New York? I had her sign a paper stating she would pay me back, but can I put a claim on the estate for payment? Aren't funeral costs, taxes and debts paid first before anything is released?

Undue carpet replacement charges.

In March 2009 when I left my apartment, exit walkthrough was not performed (apartment office was closed). I tried to do this on next day but manager was not available. A week later I received a notice from landlord that I have to pay $450 for carpet replacement (after adjusting my security deposit). I disputed this claim within 15 days as per FL law. I tried to resolve this and always threatned that either I should pay or my redit will be destroyed. After 6 weeks I was given exit walkthrough and I disputed the claim again. Landlord’s collection agency already put it on my credit rpt.

What can I do ? I have all dispute letters along with return receipt. I can also get a statement from my neighbor on carpet condition. Should I go to small claim court? Is this sufficient to prove my case?

I lived in an apartment complex for last two years. In March 2009 when I left my apartment, exit walkthrough was not performed (apartment office was closed). I tried to do this on next day but manager was not available. A week later I received a notice from landlord that I have to pay $450 for carpet replacement (after adjusting my security deposit). I disputed this claim within 15 days as per FL law and tried to resolve this with no luck. Every time I called, I was threaten that either I pay or get ready for bad credit history. I complained Palm Beach County’s consumer affair department and only then landlord gave me opportunity to visit apartment (after almost 6 weeks). By the time of my visit, whole apartment was renovated (including paint work). Carpet had few paint stains and I was to

Is an 850 Petition a lawsuit?

Does an 850 Petition allow for a party claiming an interest in real property to ask for everything from attorney fees to rent for the property in question? Reading the Code section is seems to be the method to claim an interest and have the court make that determination.

Is it possible for one sibling to cancel, change, or "take over" an irrevocable nongrantor trust w/o consent of the others?

My great-grandfather set up an irrevocable non-grantor trust for the benefit of my mother, me (25), and my four younger siblings. There is no money in the trust only land and a couple cars. My younger brother (22) claims he has a lawyer and is going to take full possession of the trust because my mother and the rest of us aren't taking care of the property (a.k.a. we aren't doing things his way). Today he told my mother he has "papers" for her. I'm afraid he will try and kick my mother and my younger sisters off the property and sell it. I do not agree with any of this and don't think he is capable/competent enough to "take over" trust.

Is it even possible? If yes, what steps can I take to prevent it?

can i get legal gaurdianship of unborn child

my step sister wants my husband and i to adopt her baby but the problem is shes not sure who the father is. It is one of two men but shes not sure so we are unable to go any further into the adoption process until we know which one is the father is. So heres my question, can we get legal gaurdianship of the unborn baby to assure that we are taking the baby home with us from the hospital? We are scared that if the baby has to go home with her until a paternity test is done that she might change her mind. please help me understand our rights or even if we have any. thanks, kly
