I found out that what I did was illegal because what I needed was a signed and notarized document from the father to leave the state. Now his father keeps calling my phone and harrassing me, and threatening that he'll report me to the family courts. Since I was afraid I had broken the law, I notifed the courts myself. My sons father has a long record and he is very unstable. I also have pressed charges on him before for domestic violence. He has never taken ANY interest in our son.
