I had a car loan with nissan motor acceptance and the car was returned as a voluntary repo.

I had a car loan with nissan motor acceptance and the car was returned as a voluntary repo. From there they stated that I had to pay the difference of 10,000. So I started sending them 25.00 a month and they were accepting it. Then they handed my case off to a collection agency and they accepted my 25.00 a month. Then the case was handed off again to another agency and they were accepting the 25.00 a month. Then a coule days ago, they stated the nissan brought back the account and now nissan or another agency is requesting that I pay them 3500.00 by the 30th and today is the 24th or they are going to garnish my wages. I have never received a letter in the mail stating that the account was transfered again. Please help.

Harrasment by Credit Union Collections agent contacting my supervisor, is it legal

Have loans with the credit union of my employer.Accounts were opened before I joined the organization. During financial crisis, I left previous job and joined current employer, taking 52k paycut. Fell behind on loans.Tried making arrangements with credit union, they couldnt help. They started debiting my account immediately pay was deposited, sometime leaving $300 for the month- I have two children. I transfered direct deposit elsewhere and fell behind further. A collections rep called me severally. I wrote a plea for loan modification. It was declined unless I made several payments (that I could not afford) and produce documents proving hardship. Recently, a collections agent emailed my supervisor asking him to help her make me understand the need to pay. Whats my recourse?

Debts

I have a few debts in some cards: $500, $1500, $800, $500 - all from 2007-2008 and a very old outstanding balance over 11 years (from 1997-1998) of about $4000 to a college for a course I have done many years ago.
Will I get into trouble?
What are the reprecurssions if I do not pay?
Can I get arrested or persucuted or can creditors search for me?
I heard that after 10 years debts like these get forgotten because they are not so big?
How can I be affected?
I live outside USA at the moment, can they search for me?
If I want to pay that what and how should I do that?

Lawyers retainer says he does not have to collect judgment but does he still get 40% if I have to do the collection myself?

I got a judgment from one person and a settlement the other. The lawyer got 40% of the settlement and a judgment for the other person. She does not want to help track down the other person and pointed out that the retainer says she doesn't do that. Is she entitled to 40% of whatever money I can track down myself?

Does a collections agency have the right to report my debt to the credit agencies though I have been paying the creditor what I

I had no insurance due to loss of job. My Blood Pressure reached stroke level and was forced to go to the emergency room. I now owe the hospital $2894.68 this amount is only for the emergency room, it does not include the physician's bill and various lab bills i am left to pay.
I wrote the hospital a good faith letter informing them that I have no money at the present time, but will pay what I can monthly $20 for now. Months that I can pay more I will pay more. I have been doing this religiously. Today, however, I received a letter from a debt collector stating if the account is not resolved within 90 days, they will report the account to the credit agencies. Do they have a right to ruin my credit knowing I am making an effort to pay something.
