Is it legally safe to run a online classifieds website as a sole proprietorship?

I am setting up a classifieds website, and I want to know whether starting out as a sole proprietorship is legally wise. If the website is sued for anything, would the proprietor be completely responsible?
Of course, there would be disclaimers and terms of use on the website, but I don't know how much protection those things would yield. The probability of this happening is relatively low, but I would like to as legally bulletproof as possible.

Hi, we have an S corporation in NC.
A new client is requiering us to have an office in CA. I imagine we can just get a PO BOX or a simple mailbox to satisfy that. The question is, how does that affect our taxes, will we need to file in CA too?

I am going to contract with a company that wants me to incorporate. I am a sole proprietor right now. Someone told me they won't check and not to do it if I don't want to. I don't want to do the wrong thing. If they don't check, would they be able to tell?

Location for suit based on breach of contract/fraud/other tort claims, Arizona or Ohio Courts?

After moving from Ohio to Arizona, there were several problems with the moving company. The moving company 1) Refused to provide any documents after taking goods. 2) Returned the next day and demanded an inflated billl be signed, under threat of 'non-receipt of household goods'; 3) Failed to deliver about ~$10,000 in goods. 4) Failed to respond to a claim for insurance based on insurance purchased with the moving company.

A complaint has been filed with the dept. of transportation.
A demand letter for payment (itemized) was ingnored (sent certified return receipt). The company is not properly registered in Ohio, with the secratary of state.

In which state would it be EASIER to sue for: Breach of contract, conversion, fraud, and other relief to which we may be entitled?

Did I sue the right person/party in KY in small claims court?

My car was damaged by a towing company in KY. The company is incorporated. I listed the president and the company under defendant in small claims court. My thought was that paper would be served to the officer and the suit was being brought against the corporation. The defendant did not show and I won by default. The judgment paper however shows that I won against the president only and does not list the corporation anywhere.
Can I still collect from the corporation, since I have a copy of original paper work showing the name of corporation also listed as a defendant? Or do I need to refile the suit?
2) If I have to refile, is there any special process I need to follow to let the court know that I listed the wrong defendant?
Thanks
