I live in California, does child support end at 18 automaticly or do I need to go back to court ?

My son is turning 18 this coming May and will graduate High school in June. Child support has always been a touchy subject with my ex-wife so I have not asked her what will happen upon him turning 18. Does the child support end automatically at 18. Does my employer stop my payroll deductions or do I need to take any kind of court action. My court order is 10 years old and does not show an end date.

My ex gets periodic payments from a structured annuity. Can I have the upcoming payment legally garnished or attached for child support arrears? What would be the first step if I chose to pursue this without the help of DCSS.

MIA ex-husband, my husband has orders for us to go overseas, how do I bring the kids with me without ex's permission?

my ex and I divorced 10 years ago with me having majority of time with the girls. He has not been involved in over 6 years, has seen them once in that time, and hasn't paid child support in six months. My current husband has orders for us to go to Germany. I still need the ex's permission to move the kids out of the school district. If he can't be found by even child support enforcement, how am I supposed to get his permission to take them out of the country? And what are my options?

What is the best course to pursue to get a divorce from my spouse who now resides in Mexico?

I married a mexican citizen here in the US (she came into the country with a fiance visa). After getting her green card, she returned to Mexico with our minor son who is now 6. She has been in Mexico for 3 years, and I do not have any way to contact her. Not sure what city she is currently living in. I now want a divorce, but am not sure how to approach it due to the international, child custody, and child support issues involved. What do you recommend?

In Florida, does father have custody of child if his name is not on the birth certificate?

Also, the child originally did not have father's last name but later changed it to include father's last name. Custody, visitation, nor child support have ever been established by the courts.

Can I sue?

This is under the state of Texas. My husband has an 18 year old son who is still a sophomore in high school. He is also working part time. Can he stop child support? Also...this same son had a medical problem years ago for which he had to be admitted into a hospital. My husband and his insurance at the time paid all the expenses but his son's mother falsely claimed in court that it was all paid in cash out of her pocket. The judge did not even bother to take a look at the evidence (the judge actually refused to look at any paper work he hd) he had that he and his insurance paid for it all and he ordered him to pay back child support. My husband did not have money to get a lawyer at the time and he did not know much abou the law. He is still paying back child support for the hospital expens
