I was injured in a car accident when I was 16 years old in 1986.

That left me paralyzed. I was told the driver was brain dead and was living in a convalescent home. There was no law suite because he had no insurance. My question is do I have any rights as far as knowing where the driver is now? If so how do I go about locating him?

Do I have grounds to sue?

I participated in a friendly morning football game w/ some coworkers and a neighboring firm we know. Prior to the game, we had emails going back and forth stating that this was non-tackle game. However, during the game I was roughly tackled, hit the ground face first and snapped my neck (I'm a 5 ft tall 100 lb female, 26 yo.. guy hit me). Only hit of the game, coworkers were commenting on what a hard hit it was. Dr said not to come in bc sounded like muscle spasm. 2 wks later I ended up suffering a stroke due to a ripped vertebral artery that subsequently cut off blood flow to my brain, caused directly from the football tackle. It was a voluntary game and nothing was signed, but witnesses agreed the hit was uncalled for and rough. Do I have grounds to sue for medical bill assistance?

My daughter is 24, but was injured in a car accident when she was 7. She had serious brain injuries, which remain today. She cannot support herself, hasn't been able to finish high school or any college classes. She also suffers severe mental disabilities because of this. Can I go to court to request continued child support? My support order was only $145 per month, but it would be something.

How much time is my brother going a way to prison? Is a Brain injury important in this case? Can he get mental and medical help?

Brother is facing probation violation and 13 burglary some aggreviated and residential. This will be his Third prison term. He had a traumatic frontal head injury at 5. Started stealing within a year and has never stopped. He is now thirty, kleptomaniac. He doesnt smoke, drink, or do drugs. Started with small things and now many electronics from homes. He has only been out for 8 months. good job, a baby on the way. Started church in jail and continued until his arresst. Clearly he is very troubled. He has never seen a docter for his childhood injury, I strongly believe that he is not just a criminal or mentally ill. I believe he has brain damage that affect his impulsivity, ability to make good decisions, and to learn from his experiences, & more. He needs to be medically evaluated & treated

Also would this be put on the value of the car or something seperate? I also have major injuries. Concussion, Crush Injury, Whiplash possible, and possible blood on the brain. I will go to a nerologist monday. DO I file a seperate claim for the injuries? Thanks

My mother was working and living independently the first of February. The 20th of February she had a vertebrael fusion which lasted six hours longer than we were originally told. After numerous readmissions to hospitals for pneumonia which was caused by her throat swelling from the surgery, we put her into a rehab facility for physical therapy. She was there exactly seven days before we believe that she choked on her dinner. The nurses finally came in and called the rescue squad, but it was too late. Her heart had stopped and she was severely brain damaged. She was taken off the ventilator and died.
