Paul served on the Board of Trustees of Thornwell Home for Children, a joyful Christian community that offers hope and wholeness to children and families. Currently he is serving on the Protection and Advocacy for People for Disabilities, Inc. PAIMI Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Columbia Film Society and the South Carolina Military History Club.
