Bruce Babbitt represented two whistleblowers in the investigation and prosecution of a nationwide conspiracy by suppliers to fix prices and rig bids on bridge construction projects, including the "Big Dig" Ziskin Bridge in Boston. He presented the case to the U.S. Attorney's office in San Francisco, who used his clients information to obtain both criminal convictions and civil fraud recoveries. HIs clients recovered their statutory share, damages for wrongful termination, and attorney fees.
