Resolved $1M tax debt for 50% of liability

Worked with business client to resolve employment tax debt of over $1M through IRS Offer in Compromise program. The program allows taxpayers to settle their tax debts with the IRS for less than the full amount based on ability to pay.

By utilizing the procedures and negotiating with the IRS through the disagreed issues, a favorable resolution (which avoided levies and garnishments) was reached. Following the settlement the business was able to operations with the current owners in place.
