Nerds On Call, Inc. (Indiana) v. Nerds On Call (California)

Client sued in for trademark infringement in a part of the country where it does not do business. We persuaded the Court, on a motion for reconsideration, that personal jurisdiction was lacking -- even under the rules that apply when considering jurisdiction via websites and under the very broad 7th Circuit "effects test." The Court dismissed the case.
