Settled After Appeal To Supreme Court
Represented Mrs. Hutt through appeal to the Supreme Court of Florida. Her case had been dismissed by the trial court, holding that a funeral home operator did not have a duty to take reasonable precautions to prevent traffic accidents during an arranged funeral procession which was required to travel through heavily congested intersections. The Supreme Court of Florida ruled in Mrs. Hutt's favor, sending the case back to the trial court for resolution. A favorable settlement resulted.
