Jane Doe v. Pharmaceutical Company

This case involved a loving mother who unknowingly took a dangerous anti-seizure medication that caused her to develop a deadly skin reaction called Stevens Johnson Syndrome. Tragically, due to the severity of her injuries, she did not recover from her resulting injuries. A lawsuit was brought on behalf of her family and her Estate against the manufacturer of the dangerous drug. Allegations of failure to warn, breach of implied warranty and other claims were asserted on the family’s behalf. After a lengthy battle with the responsible pharmaceutical company, a substantial confidential settlement was reached prior to trial.
