Application for Mandamus conditionally granted

Freddie Martinez , individually and Freddie Records, Inc. sued Ramon Ayala in the County Court at Law of Nueces County after Ayala had filed suit against them in Hidalgo County District Court. Ayala's plea to abate the second lawsuit was denied by the Nueces County court. Ayala then successfully filed a petition for Writ of Mandamus with the Court of Appeals, which directed the Nueces County court to grant Ayala's plea in abatement.
