Coffield v. State of Washington Dept. of Transportation

This was a case involving the State of Washington's condemnation of Gary and Linda Coffield's family home and property during the construction of the North Spokane Freeway project. The State's last, best offer was so low that trial was necessary and as a result of the Jury's decision regarding just compensation, the State also paid for Plaintiff's expert witnesses, attorneys' fees and the cost of this litigation.
